Trouble Accessing All About Jazz? A Tip.

Trouble Accessing All About Jazz? A Tip.: Trouble Accessing All About Jazz? A Tip.
An issue arose about two weeks ago where readers, including myself, had trouble accessing All About Jazz. Jazz Near You was fine, but AAJ returned a persistent 520 error.

This one to be exact.

It appeared out of the blue, was not caused by an internal code change, but the source was difficult to pin down. Running with a hunch, we switched off our ads to rule them out. Initially, it seemed there was a conflict happening between our ad service provider and AAJ, but it turned out to be red herring.

Recently, and without any changes (to my knowledge), accessibility has improved, but if you experience a 520 error in the future, simply clear your browser's cache, cookies and history and the website will load again, though you will have to sign back in.

This screenshot illustrates clearing Chrome's cache. Be sure to click the "Advanced" tab and select "All Time," after clicking "Privacy and security" from "Settings."
