Chris McCarthy

Born: June 7, 1994

Hot House Jazz Magazine as described Chris McCarthy as "one of the most imaginative and impressive voices on the New York jazz scene." Since arriving in New York City in 2016, McCarthy has made a name for himself as one of the scene's most in demand young sidemen. He steps into the foreground as a bandleader with the release of his April 2020 Ropeadope debut, Still Time To Quit. The album features the New York super group of Takuya Kuroda on trumpet, Michael Blake on sax, Sam Minaie on bass and JK Kim on drums. The album has been praised as a "big step forward for McCarthy, an auspicious label debut that bodes well for the future" by Glide Magazine and was prominently featured on Spotify's Jazz X-Press Editorial Playlist.

Gabriel Chakarji

Gabriel Chakarji is a GRAMMY award-winning pianist and composer known for his unique blend of Venezuelan and New York City jazz music. Growing up in Caracas, Gabriel was exposed to a wide variety of musical styles, including Afro-Venezuelan folk, Caribbean, and Brazilian music, as well as jazz and gospel hymns. He eventually moved to New York City to explore new musical frontiers and has since performed at some of the city's most iconic venues, including Carnegie Hall, Blue Note, and Dizzy's Club.

Gabriel has released two critically acclaimed albums as a bandleader: "Vida" and "New Beginning". His composition "Enredadera" was nominated for best jazz single at the 20th edition of the Independent Music Awards in New York City. In 2022, Gabriel was awarded the prestigious Jazz Gallery Residency Commission and the ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award.

Silvio Amato

After an intensive career as a young pianist working for important pop Italian singers in Catania, his birth town, Amato moved to Milan in the mid-’80s, where he continued his work as a composer and an arranger. During this time, Amato began to collaborate with a variety of pop artists; his musical productions extended to a wide range of sectors, but the television-cinematographic one received the most focus. Among his productions, the most significant ones are his compositions for children’s TV shows of the Italian network, Mediaset. Just as remarkable are his productions of all genres for the main national networks: theme songs for prime time shows and newscasts, TV shows and soap operas, sit-coms and TV movies

Flavour

Flavour was created by pairing the talents of keyboard engineer and composer Lawrence Ross, with the big sound and delightful tones of saxophonist Bryne Donaldson. Formed in 2010 in Phoenix, AZ, the idea was a small footprint band with a big sound. The purpose: to satisfy a niche in the market for venues that had no stage for a full band, but yet still wanted live music. The combination of Bryne’s old school, gospel influences and Lawrence’s new age sounds is a unique and exciting blend. The group started playing cover tunes in upscale restaurants, resorts and country clubs in the Phoenix area

Natalie Hamilton is a singer/songwriter/producer praised as "Evocative" with a "Stunning Voice" by Ink 19 Magazine and “Marvelous, Feminine and Tough" by Rolling Stone and SPIN Magazine music journalist Thom Jurek.

Her compositions "meld the sophistication of jazz with the timeless intimacy of folk." (Ink 19 Magazine)
