Lili Añel
Born:
Lili Añel considers music a calling. This striking six-foot tall singer-songwriter-musician grew up in New York City’s Spanish Harlem, where she discovered her passion for music. As a child, Lili remembers singing along to her mother’s Cuban, jazz and pop-standard albums. It was also her mother who supported Lili’s desire to join the church choir. However, it was her Afro-Cuban grandfather’s recognition of how much joy her singing brought others, being the voice that stood out in that choir, which served to set her feet firmly on the path of a career in music.

Born:
Born in Aalborg, Denmark, in 1993, Teis Semey is far from your typical jazz guitarist. Semey, the "bad boy of Dutch Jazz", celebrated for his "punk-infused avant-garde indie-jazz" is an honest, collectivist virtuoso with something to say and the tools to do so.
Semey's artistry pulls from all directions: the raw energy of punk, the contemplative beauty of Scandinavian church music, and the boundless improvisation of jazz.

Lisipi
Three musicians with different backgrounds met in a home studio and realized it was the moment that they had been waiting for all their lives: Liliya Akhmetzyanova on piano; Silvio Canargiu on bass; Pierpaolo Frailis on drums. Liliya is a classically trained pianist. She graduated from Russian conservatory. Always hated jazz and thought that all jazz players are pretentious nerds. Ironically, she met Silvio Canargiu, who is a jazz musician, fell in love with him and, automatically, with jazz. Silvio Canargiu started his professional career in 1992 with sardinian pop bands as guitarist and later singer/guitarist. Went to Sanremo for a pop festival with Nicola Marogna then he played for a long time with Stefano Puddu in France recording a couple of albums such as Zamballarana with Jerome Casalonga's 15 elements ensemble. Andrea Claburn
Born:
Born in Baltimore, Maryland to a classical pianist mother and a jazz aficionado father, Andrea Claburn knew what she wanted to do by the age of four. “I started begging my mother to let me to take piano lessons. She would play Chopin and Beethoven, and I would go to the piano when she was done and try to recreate what I’d heard. I wanted to play so badly.” Her mother finally relented when Andrea reached the ripe old age of six. “My mom was very smart. She said, ‘you’re not ready’ when I was in preschool. She was the opposite of a pushy stage mom. By making me wait to study piano, she made it clear that it was a privilege and I should treat it accordingly.” Meanwhile, her father introduced her to his favorite jazz artists: Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, the MJQ, Bill Evans
