Jazz Time Project

It is a project developed at “Instituto de Música Contemporanea USFQ” by young members of this school, for those who jazz and related rhythms have become the focus of their work. This is a straight proposal, from new spirits in jazz that have found their vehicle in another state, a quartet that surrounds us with the sounds of piano, trumpet, bass and drums for transport at the same pace towards their pleasure intellect. The members are: Piano: Miguel Gallardo, 22 years from Guayaquil, a student at the “Instituto de Música Contemporanea USFQ”, a student of the pianist Daniel Mancero. Pianist for several musical projects and is currently a member of the IMC Big Band “directed by Jay Byron. Trumpet: Paul Sanchez, Quiteño 17 years, began his musical studies at the age of 7 at the National Conservatory of Music in Music theory and trumpet
