Peter Sprague

Born: October 11, 1955

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 11, 1955, Peter Sprague was raised in Colorado until 1963, when his family moved to Del Mar, California. Inspired by his father's love of jazz, he took up the guitar when he was twelve. By the age of fifteen he was devoting all his time and energy to learning music. He studied with San Diego jazz guitarist Bill Coleman, played in his high school stage band, and formed his first group, the Minor Jazz Quartet. Following a year's study at the Interlochen Arts Academy, Sprague studied privately and performed around the San Diego area until 1976. That year found him moving to Boston to study with many notable musicians including Pat Metheny, Madame Chaloff and Albin Czak (a classical guitarist)

Peter Buck

Kris Monson

Kris Monson is a versatile musician and double bassist in New York City. Kris has had the honor of working with many of the top musicians in the international jazz and contemporary music scenes, including Marc Cary, Tyshawn Sorey, Vince Mendoza, Veronica Swift, Charles Owens, and Ari Hoenig, and on stages including the Panama Jazz Festival, Providencia Jazz Festival in Santiago Chile, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Smalls Jazz Club, and Blues Alley.

Nicoló Ricci

Born: April 14, 1987

I was born in 1987 and I grew up in Sesto San Giovanni, an industrial town in the north of Milan, Italy. I was lucky enough to be brought up in a stimulating and creative family environment and soon I began to show interest towards music. By the age of 12 I received a saxophone as a gift from my mother and I started my studies, first in a local music school and then in the Conservatory G.Verdi of Milan. While still a student I threw myself into the jazz music scene of Milan and I began to perform throughout Italy.

During my career, I had the chance to play with great musicians such as:Steve Swallow, Adam Nussbaum, Jesper Bodilsen, Gerald Cannon, Paolino Dalla Porta, Antonio Zambrini, Roberto Gatto, Giovanni Falzone, Andrea Dulbecco, Pietro Tonolo, Tino Tracanna, Marco Vaggi, Achille Succi, Bebo Ferra, Giulio Corini, Alfonso Santimone, Francesco Lento, Harris Eisenstadt, Joe Fonda, Roberto Rossi, Roberto Cecchetto, Fausto Beccalossi, Greg Burk, David Binney, Reinier Baas, Ben Van Gelder, Mark Schilders, Bo van der Werf, Clemens van de Feen.

Franco Fabbrini

Born: December 7, 1958

Bass player, double bass player, guitarist, composer, arranger and music computer expert.
He is a teacher of electric bass (three-year Jazz level I course) at Siena Jazz University (National Jazz Academy)

Stefan Frommelt

Born: September 6, 1966

Stefan Frommelt is a pianist, composer, arranger und music teacher from Liechtenstein.

Raised in a family of musicians, he decided to study music and graduated from the Musikhochschule Wien (Mag. Art., Piano & Music Pedagogy) in 1992 and the Hochschule Luzern (Diploma, Jazz Performance, Composition and Arrangement) in 2000. Further studies include master classes, with Simon Nabatov, Uli Rennert, Art Lande and Uli Scherer et al.

He is the founder and bandleader of many ensembles, such as the award-winning "Jazzzirkus"

Nathaniel T Moore

Born: March 18, 1983

Nathaniel Moore is a guitarist, composer and educator. Nathaniel Strives for a balance of artistic freedom while still making a meaningful connection with those around him. He believes that creative people have a responsibility to honor the traditions of the past while still pressing forward to the future. His music is a reflection of those experiences which have spoken to him and effected me in a deep and profound way.

Bert Jackson

Guitarist and composer Bert Jackson is influenced by the adventurousness of John McLaughlin, the groove of Wes Montgomery, and the passion of British Blues greats like Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor. While sophisticated, his playing is approachable, fun, and always a little outside the norm. You will find Bert singing and playing jazz, blues and latin all around the Southeastern Massachusetts/Cape Cod region - from hot music spots to outdoor concerts to the best community events.

Mike Tomaro

Born: October 9, 1958

Mike Tomaro has been the Director of the Jazz Studies Program at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA since 1997.  The saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator earned his B.S. degree in Music Edu­cation from Duquesne and his M.A. degree in Saxophone Perfor­mance from George Mason University.  Prior to his appointment at Duquesne, he lived in the Washington, D.C. area for seventeen years as a member of the Army Blues Jazz Ensemble, a unit of the prestigious “Pershing’s Own” U.S. Army Band.  While a member of this group, he served as its Enlisted Musical Director and performed for Presidents Reagan, Bush and Clinton as well as heads of state from around the world.  He also composed and/or arranged much of the Army Blues repertoire and was featured as a soloist on several of the group’s albums and CDs.  Mike is a Yamaha Performing Artist and Vandoren Diamond Artist.
