Max Pierini

Compositore e chitarrista iscritto alla SIAE sin dal '90. Compone ed arrangia i propri brani scrivendo tutte le parti strumentali (contrabbasso, piano, strumenti a fiato e quant'altro). Inizia a suonare sin da piccolo formandosi su una chitarra classica e sviluppando uno stile ed un tocco personale. Multistrumentista suona anche basso, piano e svariati altri strumenti creando anche le proprie ritmiche, prediligendo il suono che si ottiene con le spazzole. Dapprima si appassiona a blues, ragtime, boogie woogie, swing, dixieland. In seguito anche ad altre forme più elaborate ma continua a preferire il jazz classico. Nelle sue composizioni usa frequentemente oltre al contrabbasso e pianoforte la tromba con sordina harmon il vibrafono. Le sue composizioni spaziano dalla canzone jazz, blues, al swing al be bop. Ha collaborato con la cantante jazz di Varese Irene Di Vilio (anche insegnante) e con la bresciana Lara Quaranta

Ada Rovatti

Italian native Ada Rovatti started playing saxophone in high school after years of classical piano training. After winning a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Italy she divided herself between Boston where she studied with Joe Viola, George Garzone and Italy where she was working in Big Bands with guest artists such as: Phil Woods, Lee Konitz, Bob Mintzer, Randy Brecker. After spending one year in Paris touring Europe and Africa she moved in new York City. She has performed in important festivals such as JVC in NYC Rochester Jazz Festival, IAJE, Detroit Jazz Fest, Montreal Jazz Fest, San Francisco Jazz Fest, NorthSea Jazz Fest appearing and performing with an impressive and diverse list of artists and bands such as: Mike Stern, John McLaughlin, Anne Ducros, Bob Mintzer, Victor Bailey, Joanne Brackeen, Tony Levin, John McLaughlin, James Moody, Aretha Franklin, Herbie Hancock, Jimmy Heath Patti Austin, Joe Bonamassa and many others. In 2003 she released her first two CDs as a bandleader with the Elephunk Band and with her quartet with guests: Randy Brecker, Mike Stern and Don Alias. Ada was part of the Grammy winner CD by Randy Brecker –“34 th N Lex” and on the acclaimed CD of John McLaughlin “Industrial Zen”and also appeared in the movie ‘Mona Lisa Smile’ featuring Julia Roberts As a band leader she has released 5 Cds: Ada Rovatti & The Elephunk Band – For Rent (2003),Under The Hat (2003) Airbop (2006) Green Factor (2009) and Disguise (2014). She has toured with the Brecker Brothers Band Reunion with whom she recorded a live double DVD/CD from the Bluenote Jazz Club in NYC. She just finished recording her new recording co-leading with Randy Brecker “Brecker Plays Rovatti” to be released mid 2019.

Billy Joe Wiseman is an undeniably talented guitarist, having gained industry recognition and a fan following for his chops as an award-winning independent performer, session guitarist for Virgin Artists, and Guitar Chair for both the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra and Hilton Hotels. Tony Marino is a Latin jazz pianist, composer, and recording engineer based in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. EARLY YEARS … The artist fell in love with music at an early age. At just 7-years old he started playing piano and has been hooked ever since. Formed in London in 2015, the 5-piece Simon Lasky Group have released two albums of original compositions on ’33Jazz’ Records and regularly perform at many of the leading jazz venues in the U.K. ‘Close to Ecstasy’ (from the 2018 album release ‘About the Moment’) won the prestigious 2018 BRITISH COMPOSER AWARDS in the ‘Jazz Composition for Small Ensemble’ category and was broadcast on BBC Radio in the U.K and NPR across the U.S. Quasi-symphonic compositions, propulsive grooves, rich harmonies, expressive melodies and ecstatic improvisation are at the heart of performances by The Simon Lasky Group

Bruno Raberg

BRUNO RÅBERG is an internationally renowned bass player and composer. Since coming to the US from his native Sweden in 1981, he has made ten recordings as a leader, about 30 as a sideman, and has performed with numerous world-class artists. Some of the distinguished musicians Råberg has performed/recorded with include Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Kenny Werner, Mike Mainieri, Sam Rivers, Billy Pierce, Donny McCaslin, Dave Tronzo, Billy Hart, Bob Moses, Mick Goodrick, Ben Monder, Bruce Barth, Adam Cruz, Jim Black, Matt Wilson, Ted Poor, David Gilmore, and John Medeski. Lisa Maxwell's Jazz Orchestra

Lisa Maxwell has composed, arranged, orchestrated, produced, and conducted music for small combos, horn sections, strings, big band and full orchestra. Part of the Emmy Award-winning music team for Warner Bros., Lisa was an orchestrator on all 52 episodes of Histeria! animated series, and Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish feature film. Her original music has been licensed for TV shows including: Sons of Anarchy, Person of Interest, Dexter, Burn Notice, Four Weddings, Gravity. Currently, Lisa is preparing to release her debut big band album, Shiny! Dedicated to legendary trumpeter Lew Soloff, it features Randy Brecker and an all-star band playing her charts. Victor Dey Jr - named after his father - is a Ghanaian Jazz pianist, composer, producer, arranger and … teacher. Together with his partner in crime, saxophone player {{m: Bernard Ayisa = 117027}}, he is the driving force behind the growing Jazz scene in Ghana’s capital Accra with new talents emerging under their inspirational guidance. Dey started nurturing his talent from a very early age onwards, as his father insisted he learned music keeping him away from distractions as TV and Games.
