Steve Bloom

Steve Bloom started out learning American Folk and Popular Songs from the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s. He then began studying Classical Guitar. In 1981 he studied with Jazz teacher, Bruce Bednarsky. Steve went to Tulane University in New Orleans from ‘82-’84, where he studied Classical Harmony, Theory, and played in the school Big Band. New Orleans greatly influenced his perspective and feel in playing music and what it means to have an enthusiastic audience. In ’84 Steve transferred to the Jazz program at Long Island University in Brooklyn. Paul Bomar

Inspired by musically-adept family, Paul Bomar started his musical journey at the age of 13 by picking up a used beginner guitar and learning a few rock tunes. Upon receiving a dubbed copy of Miles Davis's "'Round About Midnight" at the age of 16, he developed a love for jazz that has only grown in the years since. After playing in several funk and rock bands, Paul set out to share his passion for jazz with the Raleigh-Durham area and performed with his own groups and other jazz combos, as well as working as a session musician for numerous performers in the area. Paul plays, as described by others, "tastefully, economically, tunefully, swinging", drawing from traditional influences such as Kenny Burrell and Jim Hall as well as more recent players such as Ed Bickert and Peter Bernstein. Donato Soviero

Guitarist, Composer, and teacher Donato Soviero has been performing in and around the Washington DC area for thirty years. Noted for his superb artistry as a guitarist and composer, Donato's versatility affords him equal comfort in many venues. With roots firmly planted in the tradition of mainstream jazz, his scope of musical interest is nonetheless wide. These influences can often be heard shaping his own unique voice as composer and arranger. A resident of the Washington D.C. area since 1982, Donato has appeared with top local and national artists, as well as leading many of his own groups in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean

Wayne Wesley Johnson

Wayne Wesley Johnson is a professional Award Winning Guitarist who formerly toured with guitar legend, Les Paul, recorded and performed with Nokie Edwards (The Ventures), and others, and has performed with Mason Williams (Classical Gas). He has sold over 80,000 CDs worldwide and his music is heard Internationally on over 400 radio stations and on "Roswell," "Malcolm in the Middle," Discovery Channel, "Outward Bound," MTV's "Made," and the Weather Channel to name but a few. He has toured and performed all over the world including China, Israel, Europe, South America and in most of the 50 states

I am a composer, improvisational guitarist, painter, and philosopher interested in freely improvised music with a focus on generating extended sound statements within the options afforded through solo performance. What I do is referred to, especially in Europe, as ‘Free Jazz’, totally improvised sound expressions with emphasis on deconstruction of structure and pattern, upon which one can become comfortable and rely on during a performance, while generating a narrative of the moment. I am interested in the textural aspects of the sounds, in the physical dimensioning of each note, of the geometric quality of the sound

Sune Pors Andersen

Sune Pors (b. 1987 in Odense, Denmark) is a guitarist and composer, who has worked with numerous Danish and international bands and artists as a sideman, as well as performing his own music. Current projects include the eclectic guitar duo Thief On The Roof with estonian guitarist Kirsi Tilk, the world-music-meets-rock group Umpas, rock/fusion trio Randolph Cricket and the genre-bending jazz trio Myrtue/Pors/Rõivassepp. ​ In 2015, Sune Pors finished his master's degree in jazz/pop/rock guitar at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. There he had lessons with Uffe Steen, Karsten Aaholm, Adam Levy, Miso Petrovic, Tolis Zavaliaris, Henrik Andersen, Gilad Hekselman and many others

Chance Hayden

Guitarist, composer, arranger and producer Chance Hayden has sustained an active presence throughout Portland, Oregon since 2005. His talent continuously extends to diverse acclaimed artists such as Darrell Grant, Farnell Newton, Andy Stokes, Lindsey Webster, Maimouna Youssef and Mycle Wastman. Hayden garnered international exposure touring throughout fifteen countries alongside Jarrod Lawson, highlights involving Holland’s North Sea Jazz Festival, Japan’s Billboard Live and an exclusive birthday celebration for Stevie Wonder. Hayden’s talent as a composer has charted through his self-released debut, The Family Tree, from which multiple songs appeared within the acclaimed BET television series Being Mary Jane and Sony Pictures' #1 box office film The Perfect Guy

I have been a professional entertainer since 1965. I have played with recording artists, appeared on TV and radio, and have had articles published in newspapers and magazines. I am currently teaching guitar for the San Diego Community College District (since 1988) and have a music degree from Mount Aloysius College with concentration on Music Ed and guitar performance. I am available as a music producer. I have a good ear for what sounds good and what sounds bad, and I will work with you or your band to record a dynamic CD that captivates rather than falls short. I am available for session work and for last-minute sideman work (guitar) in the San Diego/Southern California area
