Monika Hoffman

The Malmö-based Monika Hoffman has made a thrilling musical journey. Geographically she's landed in Boston, Hungary and Canada. Musically she moves in between the areas of Classical Music, Latin Jazz and Pop. Since Monika has roots in a Hungarian family of musicians it never struck her as unnatural to embrace her colourful heritage. September 22'nd she will finally release her first album at home base. On her debut album ”Let's Run Away” Monika's music spans over several hues of the Latin-american musical palette. She has chosen to compose her lyrics in English, Swedish and Hungarian. ”I think it's very important to preserve my heritage

Dei Xhrist

Sotto voce/art brut glossolalia and spoken word, acoustic or amplified with pedal effects. Xhrist began performing sonically in the early 00s, and now sings solo and with ensemble improvisors in the New England experimental sound/noise/improvisation/art scene. Organizes XFest MA (www.xfestma.com) starting in 2020. Deelee Dube

Deelee Dubé (pronounced Doo-beh, accented “é”) made history by becoming the first British Winner and recipient of the 2016 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and is one of today’s foremost gifted vocalists to have emerged from the London scene in many years. Embodying a stellar African musical lineage, the eclectic tastes of a London upbringing and a deep love and respect for the jazz tradition, Deelee possesses what Jazz Times called ‘a warm tone, genuine blues feeling and easy rhythmic authority.’ Deelee’s late father was the famed South African jazz pianist Jabu Nkosi; her grandfather another legendary figure from the country’s music scene, saxophonist and bandleader Zacks (Isaac) Nkosi

Sarah Jerrom

Sarah Jerrom is a vocalist, composer and arranger specializing in jazz and creative music who takes her inspiration from lyric-driven melodies, genre-defying instrumentation and experimental soundscapes. “The Yeats Project” (2017), her first all-original album, features W.B. Yeats’s poetry set to music and orchestrated for a nine-piece chamber jazz ensemble, achieved critical praise and international airplay. Sarah’s debut album, “Illuminations” (2007), encompassing original compositions, jazz-inspired arrangements of contemporary songs and traditional jazz standards, has also received widespread media attention and international radio airplay

Katerina Brown

Born in 1982 in a small town outside St. Petersburg, Katerina Brown was drawn to music as an infant. Jazz and American records were still hard to come by in the waning years of the Soviet Union, but she soaked up her father’s albums by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Studying classical music throughout her adolescence, she started performing in local clubs as a teenager, singing mostly blues and standards. Ambitious and eager to learn more, she moved to St. Petersburg at 19 and quickly fell in with a cadre of young musicians who loved and played jazz. A savvy bandleader by 21, she started performing regularly at the Red Lion Blues Club, which was owned by an American, and spent the next five years working steadily around the city as a blues singer

Céline Rudolph

Vocalist and composer Céline Rudolph glides between Berlin, São Paulo, Paris and New York, between tongues and genres, always landing in the very heart of music. „Music is like breathing, it was there ever since I could remember“ Céline Rudolph says and recollects how her father always played a break when jamming on the guitar, so that there was a space for his children to create improvised lines or percussive fills. Born in Berlin and raised with her parents’ rich record collection, the daughter of a Frenchwoman from Bordeaux and a cosmopolitan musical enthusiast from Berlin, started singing along with an LP from João Gilberto performing the Brazilian classic “Rosa Morena” to an LP at the age of five

Shirley Crabbe

Native New Yorker and 2019 New York Bistro Award winner, Shirley Crabbe has been hailed as possessing a voice that “must surely appeal to all who love good jazz singing.” Her “almost Ella Fitzgerald–like vibe glows…” says Downbeat Magazine's John Ephland on her 2011 debut recording HOME featuring the legendary saxophonist Houston Person. Her 2018 Top 50 album BRIDGES (2018) has received rave reviews and spotlights her collaborations with renowned pianists Donald Vega, and David Budway. Shirley has been a guest on syndicated radio programs such as “Jazz Inspired” hosted by Judy Carmichael, and Steve Cuden's "StoryBeat" to name a few, and currently performs at jazz clubs, festivals and concert series in the US

Lizzi Trumbore

DFW based vocalist and composer Lizzi Trumbore infuses catchy melodies, lush harmonies, introspective lyrics, and genre-bending grooves to create a unique spin on both the pop and jazz idioms. Her debut album "Lifelines" is set to release in the fall of 2019. Lizzi is a published songwriter and arranger who’s original compositions have been performed by collegiate and professional vocal groups throughout the country and at the JEN (The Jazz Education Network) and ACDA (American Choral Director’s Association) conferences. Her songs have been described as "world class," "sincere and intelligently crafted," and "full of beautiful surprises." She skillfully combines a vibrant and youthful perspective on songwriting while still capturing a mature depth and understanding of the art form. Trumbore has worked and performed alongside premiere jazz artists including Sara Gazarek, Josh Nelson, Jo Lawry, vocal group Groove for Thought, and Peter Sprague
