YouTube reached 100 million viewers in October, up from 92 million in July, according to data released Tuesday by comScore.
In total, more than 147 million Americans watched online video in October – two-thirds of which were viewed on YouTube. Fox Interactive, which includes MySpace and Fox Sports Interactive, came in second with 60.8 million viewers, followed by Yahoo with 45.2 million and Microsoft with 30.7 million.
In terms of total videos viewed, Internet users watched 13.5 billion videos during the month, up 45 percent from last year.
YouTube again topped the list for videos viewed, with 5.3 million, or about 40 percent of the market. Fox and Yahoo rounded out the top three, though they only captured 3.8 percent and 2.7 percent of the market, respectively.
