Award-winning pianist, composer and music producer Uriel Pascucci has been named a double award recipient at the Clouzine International Music Awards Spring 2026, an international distinction celebrating exceptional independent artists from around the globe, given by Clouzine Magazine.

At this year’s edition, Uriel Pascucci received awards in two distinct categories: Best Instrumental Jazz Song prize for “Marta’s Dream” as well as the Best Flamenco Song prize for “Virutas”. Both works are original compositions by Uriel Pascucci, who also produced the recordings independently. Like the wood shavings suggested by its title, the music unfolds with vivid gestures, fragments of sound shaped by pulse and movement. Composed for the presentation of the book “Virutas—El Carpintero del Pueblo" by Raquel Pilar Aznar, the piece gives musical voice to the story of a Spanish immigrant who made his life in Argentina. Besides, the Spanish music influence is not foreign to Uriel Pascucci, as he grew up listening to composers such as De Falla and Albéniz, and he has always loved the rich Flamenco music of Paco De Lucía. He has been since long time enchanted by Flamenco experiments like those of Chick Corea on his album “My Spanish Heart." Even one of Uriel Pascucci's favorite albums since his teenage years has been Arthur Rubinstein's “Music of Spain." All of this has borne fruit in this music called “Virutas."
