Pianist and composer translating universal life experiences and emotions into sound

Uriel Pascucci is an award-winning pianist, composer, and music producer born in Argentina. He has won awards on multiple international piano competitions, including the Second Prize at the International Music Competition “London” Grand Prize Virtuoso 2017 in England as well as the First Prize at the XVIII Piano Competition “City of Necochea” in Argentina, among others. Within his current discography, his recording “Solo Piano” Album was awarded with two Silver Medal honors at the Global Music Awards 2024 in the United States. He is a double award recipient at the Clouzine International Music Awards Spring 2026, where two recordings of his own original compositions were honored. In addition, one of his original compositions was honored as a prize winner in the Classical Crossover category at the 2026 InterContinental Music Awards. “I am a classical pianist from the end of the world. My roots are planted deep in the sunlit soil of Luján de Cuyo, a small town in Mendoza, Argentina. Classical music in Mendoza is a rare bird, seldom seen, barely heard. I didn’t come from a family of musicians, but music found me anyway”. “From the very beginning, music wasn’t a hobby — it was a universe. It gave my life shape and meaning, and choosing to follow it professionally, coming from my quiet corner of the world, was as brave as it was irrational“. A frequent touring performer, his artistry has been recognized for its “visionary approach, interpretive depth and expressive musical language”. His repertoire includes a wide range of composers extending from Baroque to Contemporary music, with special emphasis on Romanticism and 20th century composers. He made his London concert debut at the Royal Albert Hall in England, as well as performances at the Petit Palau in the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, Spain, at the Auditorio Juan Victoria in San Juan, Argentina and at the Mozarthaus Vienna in Austria. Uriel Pascucci is also an accomplished composer. His distinctly personal compositional style translates his internal experience with sound and emotion into structure. “Each piece is a conversation, a statement, a distilled fragment of life.” “I have grown as a classical pianist, but I’ve never lived in one musical house alone. Jazz, improvisation, tango, composition — all these voices have shaped my language at the keyboard”. Uriel Pascucci’s educational background includes studying at the Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel in Switzerland, at the University of Arkansas in the United States and at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina. Uriel Pascucci is also the author of “Unlocking The Virtuoso Piano Technique,” a book that reflects his commitment to the advancement of piano performance. “Music, to me, is the rarest of gifts: the more it is played, the more generous it becomes.
