The University of Idaho's International Jazz Collection is now available online.

A newly launched web site by the university's library is set up to make the collection available to students, scholars or jazz buffs world wide. Portions of the web site are still under construction. Library officials and Michael Tarabulski, archivist of the university's international jazz collection, say they intend to provide periodic updates with new materials.

The collection is the leading jazz history archive in the Pacific Northwest and includes music from the legendary Lionel Hampton and materials from famed jazz critic Leonard Feather. Also includes music from vocalist Ella Fitzgerald, trumpet players Dizzy Gillespie and Doc Cheatham and saxophonist Gerry Mulligan.
