Here's a first look at some of the new features and a video tour:

Connect is where you “get in on the conversation." See who has followed or mentioned you, retweeted or favorited one of your Tweets.

Discover lets you tap into a customized stream of information. Profile—This new section puts you and your interests front and center. Others can Tweet directly to you and view your lists, favorites, followers, photos and more. A Me tab is where you can stay current on direct messages.

Speak—The new tweet/send section.

Twitter says that many of these new features will be incorporated to its official Tweetdeck app soon. It will interesting to see how easily Hootsuite and others can keep up with the changes. Let us know what you think of the new Twitter and how it's effecting your social media efforts.
