Timothy W. Booth's Toronto Art Orchestra
Just a little note to announce our (Toronto Art Orchestra) upcoming gig at the Dominion on Queen Mon. Dec. 10th at 9:00 pm. We have some new imaginative arrangements and compositions by Bruce Cassidy and I. We also have an arrangement of Tchaikovsky's Arab Dance from the Nutcracker by the Great Gil Evans! I am so excited because the band is sounding great and it will be a Killin' night! Here are some of the impressions and feedback from the people who were lucky enough to attend our first gig on Oct. 1st.

Just a note to tell you how much I enjoyed your band at the Dominion. I was tired that night but stayed for two sets anyway. The arrangements were varied and rather different from the usual. I liked yours and Bruce's the most.

I think your band will become one of the important staples of jazz in Toronto, and will also be of interest to audiences elsewhere.

Good luck with it.
Michael Colgrass (Pulitzer Prize winning composer)
