Todd Gordon To Join Forces With Christy Smith At Kuala Lumpur Jazz Festival

Todd Gordon will perform his acclaimed “Todd Gordon Sings The Sinatra Songbook" with none other than Jazz Legend/composer/Bassist and Radio presenter Christy Smith (touring with symphony orchestras and big bands around the world, appeared with Stevie Wonder, Sarah Vaughan, Billy Higgins, Don Cherry, Ed Blackwell, Charlie Haden, Alphonse Mouzon, Eddie Harris and Harold Land amongst many others).

Also in the quartet formation Singaporean talent rising star (now living in NY): Wei Xiang Tan - One of the most exciting pianists to emerge from the Asian jazz scene, Wei has made quite an impact in his relatively short career: playing in New York for the past four years, in legendary clubs - Blue Note, 55 Bar, Smalls, with legendary musicians Joe Lovano, Brian Lynch and Ari Hoenig.

Christy Smith And Wei Xiang Tan collaborate on a regular basis in various groups.

This will lend another layer of multiculturalism to the show.
