The Great Connecticut Traditional Jazz Festival Moves for 2009

The Great Connecticut Traditional Jazz Festival will present its 23rd annual festival July 31 through August 2, 2009.

The Festival has moved to a new location: Mountain Ridge Resort in Wallingford, CT. Mountain Ridge is a newly renovated event facility centrally located in bewtween Hartford and New Haven.

The Festival features fifteen bands from Louisiana, Connecticut, Massachussetts, New Jersey, Missouri, California, Arizona, including for their first Connecticut appearance Louis Ford and his New Orleans Jazz Flairs. Festival favorites Cornet Chop Suey, Midiri Brothers, Galvanized Jazz Band, and Jeff Barnhart will be returning.
