After 50 years as a serious jazz musician and composer, Bob Dorough still finds his most requested songs are some catchy ditties he wrote to help teach kids how to multiply and use proper grammar. Dorough is the voice behind many of the 1970s Saturday morning Schoolhouse Rock segments, including “Three is a Magic Number," “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly," and dozens of others.

In addition to Schoolhouse Rock, Dorough has recorded with the likes of Miles Davis and Blossom Dearie, and has also released several of his own critically-acclaimed jazz albums.

Dorough is a guest on episode 30 of the Bionic Genius Roundtable, available at www.bionicgenius.com.

Episode 30 also features an effort by the geniuses to take the pulse of the youth of America, a dark trip down memory lane to reminisce about childhood punishments and the Universe's favorite segment, “What Does a Genius Eat for Lunch?"
