Savage Ticket Announce The Start Of The 'How I Fell In Love With Jazz' Video Contest

Savage Ticket, a new platform that aims to propel listeners into a new listening and viewing experience for music, by creating a virtual and a real-world platform to enable new opportunities for professionals and audiences worldwide, announces the start of a major contest.

On October 1st, savage Ticket is launching the How I Fell In Love With Jazz video contest, one that requires any participant to provide a 60-second video to the platform explaining how they fell in love with jazz music. The contest will run until October the 30th.

The contest is open to all, from artists and musicians to listeners, fans, and really anybody who would like to participate.

The prestigious jury selecting the winners will be composed of:

  • Al Di Meola: Al is a jazz guitar hero and perennial poll-winner. He has been recognized internationally over the past four decades as a virtuoso of the highest order.
  • Dorthaan Kirk: Honored as a 2020 Jazz Master by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), our country’s highest honor for jazz, Dorthaan, widow of Rahsaan Roland Kirk, has been a lifelong ambassador of Jazz and has often been referred to a New Jersey’s first lady of jazz.
  • Karrin Allyson: Karrin is a five-time Grammy nominee in the category of Best Jazz Vocal.
  • Houston Person: Houston is a legendary “Boss Tenor” jazz saxophonist, and record producer.
  • Noriko Ueda: Noriko is a pre-eminent jazz bassist, composer, and bandleader.
The winner of the contest will get a $2,500 prize, and the runner-up a $1,000 prize, without forgetting to mention that an additional 100 prizes of $100 each will be given away to the participants.

The visionary concept that Savage Ticket has brought to life is set to kick start the post-COVID-19 world in the most innovative, sustainable, and inspiring way for the international community of musicians, artists, and music-related professionals, to unify the world of music with an unprecedented concept.
