12 noon—Al Jardine
Mini-acoustic performance and signing
Beach Boys founding member Al Jardine plays a couple songs followed by signing.
“The idea is to release a nice little 7" vinyl on Record Store Day with the A side being “Don't Fight The Sea" and the B side being “Friends" (A Capella) by The Beach Boys for the Japanese disaster relief. Isn't that cool? I'll be going over to Berkley to Amoeba Music and doing an acoustic set to celebrate the single's release. It should be very special because I'll be hand delivering some of these myself. The single should have a very nice vibe to it. We're going to transfer from tape to vinyl; it will be very cool."—Al Jardine

We agree. And 100% of the 7" proceeds go to Japan disaster relief!

Guest DJs!

2pm-4pm—Paul Costuros
Special Lord B. (A.k.a DJ Paul Paul) is a founding member of the six-years-strong award-winning Saturday Night Soul Party! He also started the International Freakout A Go-Go!—an underground club that specializes in vintage soul, funk, rock, pop, and psych from all around the world. He is also a touring musician, playing in bands such as Death Sentence: Panda!, Murder Murder and Total Shutdown, and runs a record label called Special Lord Records. He loves dolphins.

4pm-6pm—Jen Chochinov
Jen is a simple girl with a penchant for spinning only the best of the best vinyl while leaving the 'tude at home. Spanning genres and playing the good shit, it's kind of her thing. Believe it.

7:30pm—The Lonely Island
Meet The Lonely Island at Amoeba Music on Record Store Day!
The Lonely Island return to their hometown of Berkeley for a special event! Meet Akiva, Andy, and Jorma in person at Amoeba Berkeley this Saturday, April 16th. The Dudes will host a Q&A answering fan-submitted questions, and after that will be sticking around to sign stuff! Here's how to get in:
