Light It Up is the fourth recording by the Randy Simon Jazz Project showcasing the compositions and instrumental arrangements of Randy Simon. It features an outstanding ensemble of musicians including two newcomers to the series: John Menegon, the renowned bass player who has played with many of the giants of contemporary jazz, and Paul Borrello, a versatile percussionist who adds the exciting sound of vibes to the mix. Joining the two newcomers are the superb pianist Adrian Cohen, the remarkable drummer Danny Whelchel, the talented and always musical saxophonist Kevin Barcomb and the excellent horn player Pete Bellino.

Like the other RSJP CDs, Light It Up was recorded live in the studio, capturing the unique energy of jazz musicians interacting and improvising on the spot. The album features 10 original compositions by Randy Simon.

It is available now digitally and in CD form through the RSJP website and shortly through a variety of online retailers.
