Montreal -- Programming organizers of the 30th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montral would like to advise fans that the Estelle concert-featuring opening act Divine Brown-initially scheduled for Mtropolis in the Rythmes Bell series at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10 has been moved up to Monday, July 6, at the same time.

Last year, she launched American Boy, THE single of the summer! UK sensation Estelle, newest star in the hip hop galaxy, caught the eye of John Legend, who made her the first signing to his new label, Homeschool Records. According to major-league star Wyclef, her dancehall-style R&B, with its jazzy, soul and especially reggae accents, mark her as the new Lauryn Hill. Soul and R&B are a vast playground for Divine Brown, former backup singer for Nelly Furtado, who opens the evening with her concept album The Love Chronicles.

The 30th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montral will run from June 30 to July 12, 2009.
