Tune in for another great musical performance on WLRN's South Florida Arts Beat

Friday, March 4th, 2011
Featuring EVER SO KLEVER

Led by guitarist/vocalist Rich Plaza, Ever So Klever has grown into a ferocious band. Utilizing various musical genres (Jazz, Blues, Ska, Swing, Rockabilly and Funk among others), they now number nine very talented members. Their horn section has grown to five members including Sam Savage—Trombone, Sapo Gonzalez—Baritone Sax, Taylor Vega—Tenor Sax, Jesus Matos—Trumpet and Paula Monique—Trumpet. Drummer Neel Shukla and bassist Aimiel Rivas fill out the powerful, swingin' rhythm section. Last, but certainly not least, their new vocalist, Becca Neun, is a dynamo of a front woman. Her energy and vocal delivery is unparalleled. She covers diverse genres seamlessly with expert showmanship. This is quite a unique, stand-out group among the great talent here in South Florida. Their latest CD, “Bootlegged" is available at WWW.EverSoKlever.Net. Bring your dancin' shoes!

Please tune in worldwide on our great, new website at WLRN.org at 1:00pm, EST on 3/4/11, for the broadcast.

This show is generously co-sponsored by Pollo Tropical and Friends of WLRN.
