Phil Ramone, Larry Rosen, Larry Miller Form Roba to Create iPad and Android Tablet Music Apps

Music industry veterans, Larry Rosen (GRP Records), Phil Ramone (producer for Streisand, Dylan, Elton John), Larry Miller (AT&T's a2b music, Or Records) and entertainment attorney Leslie José Zigel have  formed ROBA Interactive to develop iPad and Android tablet music apps. Their goal is to create a more immersive and interactive digital music experience.

ROBA's patent-pending app starts with the music and then layers  photographs, videos, interviews, lyrics, and other content. The App can also link to current news and tour dates. There are ecommerce options for additional content like tickets and merch.

“Remember all the intimacy of holding an LP cover while listening to music, poring over the liner notes and images, well now, it responds to your touch by providing more information, video, photography, interviews, reference material, games, and anything that the artist and producer envisions," states Rosen.
