Pascal Tremblay
Pascal Tremblay, saxophonist, composer and arranger leads a remarkable jazz quartet of reknown musicians comprised of guitarist Sylvain Provost, double bassist Frdric Alarie and drummer Jean-Francois Barbeau. For the Lueurs project, Tremblay has augmented this lineup in order to interpret his original compositions and arrangements inspired by impressionistic era melodies. Nothing less than the respected Claudel-Canimex string quartet, joins the core ensemble on this project.

Lueurs is a wonderful recording, remarkable for its originality, the quality of its elements and its successful blend. This recording was produced with Fidelio Music, internationally recognized for the exceptional sound quality of its productions which are much appreciated by audiophiles all over the world.

“Pascal Tremblay is a mature musician and excellent at improvisation, his tenor's tone is beautiful. We can feel the experience, he is no beginner, has a deep knowledge of jazz and was successful in putting together excellent musicians... his work is beautiful, impressionist, French and very modern..." —Alain Brunet / Radio-Canada
