Since its launch earlier this year, the iTunes App Store has boasted all manner of success stories, but none come close to that of Internet radio generator Pandora.
While the Web-based version of the site has, by some accounts, fallen behind more feature-rich sites such as Last.fm and Slacker, Pandora's iPhone counterpart, which lets users stream free music on their iPhone and iPod Touches, has been going gangbusters.
Pandora is now the most popular iPhone app, having registered 2 million users as of Tuesday morning.
