Pandora Refreshes Desktop Music App

Internet radio provider Pandora on Wednesday announced that it has released the second version of its Pandora One desktop app. In a blog post, the site's CTO Tom Conrad added that the new app maintains a simple interface while incorporating come of the “most-requested features."

Among the new features are the ability to view song history from the previous hour. Users can purchase or thumb up or down any songs played in that time. The app also features a new progress bar, which displays the amount of time left on the current track. Also new is the ability to view the artist's name and track title by hovering over the system tray in Windows.

The updated app is available now for download from Pandora.
