Yesterday Hypebot called Geneva based Official.fm one of the 10 Smartest Startups At SF MusicTech. Now Official.fm has announced that they've received an additional $8 million in funding to build what they call “the world's most advanced do-it-yourself platform for music creators & content owners." The site also offers widgets, tools and analytics. A new API is aimed at improving music discovery through partnerships like Shuffler.fm.
