New Music Seminar has partnered with BigChampagne and their Ultimate Chart Technology to support their Artist on the Verge Project, which, twice a year, at the industry conference, seeks to identify artists that are on the verge of breaking.
Three finalists—meeting this unique criteria—are chosen by the NMS Music Committee are then invited to perform at the event; winner receiving over $50,000 in prizes. In utilizing BigChampagne's comprehensive data set, the NMS crew will able to better acknowledge and reward standout artists, ones that may have not been recognized in the past. But, have long since been deserved appreciation.
