New Podcast "Jazz Now! Seattle" Debuts Oct. 1st Playing Seattle's Best Current Jazz

Seattle jazz musicians have a new outlet for their music, and jazz fans around the world have a way to hear all of the amazing jazz that's coming out of Seattle, WA. “Jazz Now! Seattle" is a new podcast that makes its debut Friday, October 1, 2010.

“Jazz Now! Seattle" is hosted by Jason Parker and David Marriott, Jr., both working jazz musicians in Seattle. Because they are both active on the scene they will bring listeners an insider's perspective on the music they feature, and their unprecedented access to the music and musicians will ensure that the show covers the widest spectrum of music as possible.

Episode 1 will debut at midnight on October 1st and will feature music from Dave Anderson, Ray Vega & Thomas Marriott, Andy Clausen, McTuff and a special tribute to the recently departed Hadley Caliman. You'll also hear music from your hosts, so you can get an idea of where they are coming from as well.
