Then it's a Seattle quintet known as Speak, which features Pat Metheny Group trumpeter Cuong Vu, with a collection of what they call “big beat experimental space jazz and improvised music" on the album simply titled “Speak." Pat Metheny realized a life-long dream born of a childhood memory as he created a robotic band to play with on “Orchestrion." John McLaughlin returns to a hard-edged 21st century fusion style with his latest band The 4th Dimension on “To The One." And Charlie Hunter continues his switch from 8-string to 7-string guitar accompanied by drums and three horns on “Gentlemen, I Neglected To Inform You You Will Not Be Getting Paid." Interview segments with these four great guitar masters followed by their new music will begin each hour from Noon through Midnight Eastern time (9 AM-9 PM Pacific).
