The great Larry Coryell, known for his fiery electric work, goes mostly acoustic on his new one “Jammin' At Franny's: The XCyrus Sessions." Pat Metheny realized a life-long dream born of a childhood memory as he created a robotic band to play with on “Orchestrion." And Charlie Hunter continues his switch from 8-string to 7-string guitar accompanied by drums and three horns on “Gentlemen, I Neglected To Inform You You Will Not Be Getting Paid."
