Every Friday beginning at 7 AM until midnight Eastern time we'll begin each hour with a classic piece of Jazz Fusion history with our special feature we call IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION. This Friday, April 23rd, we'll salute four major contributors to the fusion era who first made their names as rock stars with a special feature we call “ROCK'S GREATEST FUSION GUITARISTS." Jeff Beck was a member of The Yardbirds, Jimi Hendrix and his trio had taken the world by storm, Carlos Santana's band fused Latin & Rock and gained stardom, and Frank Zappa's guitar work was equaled only by his unique musical vision. Each of these men had another thing in common...their huge contribution to the Jazz Fusion Era. It's “ROCK'S GREATEST FUSION GUITARISTS," on this week's edition of IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION.
