Listen Wednesday morning at 9 AM/6 AM Pacific and again Wednesday night at 9 PM Eastern/6 PM Pacific, and twice again on Sunday at 11 AM & 11 PM Eastern, as part of the Sunday Specials. This week we'll find out what Joe Zawinul was up between the end of Weather Report and the formation of The Joe Zawinul Syndicate as we present JOE ZAWINUL & WEATHER UPDATE LIVE IN GERMANY 1986. After Weather Report ended Joe decided to stay busy with an all-star band that included Peter Erskine on drums, Victor Bailey on bass and Steve Khan on guitar, who gives us a great Joe Zawinul story to start the show. So join us for JOE ZAWINUL & WEATHER UPDATE LIVE IN GERMANY 1986 on this week's edition of LIVE @ MOJALand!

Join Russ Davis as he gives you an hour of nothing but the freshest MOJA on THE ALL NEW MUSIC REVUE every Thursday at 10 AM east/7 AM West with a replay at 10 PM East/7 PM West, and twice again on Sundays at 10 AM & 10 PM Eastern. This week we'll begin with more from an album we debuted last week, the brilliant new release from master drummer Lenny White titled “Anomaly," filled with new 21st century fusion and deep, brilliant compositions played by an all-star cast. Then it's four more new ones we've never played for you. You'll year the acoustic and electric work of keyboard master Jacky Terrasson on his new work “Push," followed by beautiful vocalist Nnenna Freelon with a host of her long time associates from her home of 28 years, Durham, NC, including guitarist Scott Sawyer, on the album “Homefree," recorded in Durham. Then it the latest from violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain, AKA DBR, blending jazz with everything from Classical to Hip Hop on an inventive new work titled “Woodbox," and we'll follow that with a funky brass band discovered in the subways of New York. They are known as The Underground Horns and their great new work is titled “Funk Monk." So, if you want to keep up with all the newest MOJA, just listen to THE ALL NEW MUSIC REVUE four times each week!

Every Friday beginning at 7 AM until midnight Eastern time we'll begin each hour with a classic piece of Jazz Fusion history with our special feature we call IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION. This Friday, April 30th, we'll present a special feature we call “STEVE KHAN & THE BRECKER BROTHERS: '70's NEW YORK FUSION." Steve came from LA & Randy & Michael came from Philly. They became friends and cohorts in a red hot scene in New York in the 1970's that helped define what Fusion in the second decade of the movement was all about. You'll hear their collaborations and their solo work if you join us for “STEVE KHAN & THE BRECKER BROTHERS: '70's NEW YORK FUSION," on this week's edition of IF IT'S FRIDAY, THIS MUST BE FUSION.

This Saturday we'll focus on the city that quite possibly is the most important music center of all time as we present our weekly feature WORDS & MUSIC on MOJA Radio this one titled “NEW YORK STORIES!" Jazz fans know that The Big Apple is THE place for jazz and of course, so do the players. Natives and immigrants have made it the richest jazz scene of all time. Al Di Meola, Lenny White, Marcus Miller and Mike Mainieri were born there and Billy Cobham, Chico Hamilton, Dave Holland, Eliane Elias, Larry Coryell, Michel Camilo, Will Bernard and Steve Khan moved there to follow their musical dreams. You'll hear their stories and their music this Saturday. Interview segments followed by music will begin each hour from Noon through Midnight Eastern time (9 AM-9 PM Pacific). Join us for 12 great “NEW YORK STORIES," on this week's WORDS & MUSIC.

Twice every Sunday listen for three of our most popular special features on what we call THE SUNDAY SPECIALS here on MOJA Radio. At 9 AM & 9 PM Eastern time you'll hear an hour of fun and funky stuff on JAMMIN' JAZZ...JAZZ FOR THE NEW GENERATION WITH MICHELLE SAMMARTINO followed at 10 AM and 10 PM Eastern time by our weekly look at the hottest new MOJA coming out on THE ALL NEW MUSIC REVUE. Then we'll wrap it all up at 11 AM and 11 PM Eastern time with an hour inside the world's only imaginary jazz club for rare, live performances on LIVE @ MOJALAND. So listen for THE SUNDAY SPECIALS twice every Sunday from 9 AM to NOON, with a replay Sunday night from 9 PM to Midnight Eastern/6-9 PM Pacific on MOJA Radio!
