Bassist/producer Melvin Gibbs' free music series “Phree-dem Downloads" reaches its final week with the track “John Knows The Deal" from his Bitches Brew derived “Melvin Runs The Hoodoo Down" sessions. “John Knows The Deal" features John Medeski on organ and electric piano. This track also includes Casey Benjamin on synth as well as the rhythm section of J.T. Lewis on drums and Mr.Gibbs on bass.
