Since 1982, Atlantic Center for the Arts' residency program has provided artists from all artistic disciplines with spaces to live, work and collaborate during three-week residencies at their Florida facility. Jazz composer and performer Matt Shipp was named a Master Artist-in-Residence for the Spring of 2011. Shipp will personally select a group of talented, emerging and mid-career artists to participate through an application process. The deadline to apply is February 4, 2011 and applications can be submitted on atlanticcenterforthearts.org.
