Hello Blue Note fans, I just thought I’d let you know that there has been a remastered vinyl reissue of Lou Donaldson’s “Lou Takes Off”. A collection of four 12” single sided lp’s set on 45 rpm. These are in fact issued on Quiex Super Vinyl, so you know what that means audiophile's. Both the sound from the original stereo master tape plus the performances are true, swinging perfection on this 1959 production. Sidemen include Blue Note regulars such as Donald Byrd, Curtis Fuller, Sonny Clark, George Joyner and Art Taylor.
