Lexicon
Lexicon is a quartet from Bloomington-Normal, Illinois performing original improvisational music. Upon forming in 2008, Lexicon has brought their music to a variety of venues, including clubs, festivals, concert halls, and bars throughout the area.

The self-titled debut CD showcases the range of their music and influences. From the funky odd-meter syncopations of “Uncle Hunk," the noise-rock/jazz hybrid of “Pillage Little," the synthesizer infused post-rock sounds of “Country Gingham" to the reverb-drenched lyricism of “Lundqvist," the quartet presents a unique sound meeting at the boundaries of improvised jazz and modern American popular music.
