The event will feature an all-star line-up of popular jazz artists such as Jeffrey Osborne, Spyro Gyra, Euge Groove, Bob Baldwin, The Braxton Brothers and Jeanette Harris with Andre Delano.

The soulful vocalist Jeffrey Osborne has produced such Top 40 hits as “Don't You Get So Mad," “Stay With Me Tonight," and “Love Power," which lead to five gold and platinum albums. Contemporary Jazz group Spyro Gyra - which consists of musicians Scott Ambush, Jay Beckenstein, Julio Fernandez, Ludwig Afonso and Tom Schuman – celebrates 30 years of instrumental pop hits with the release of The Deep End. With three previous albums, sax player Euge Groove has built a tremendous following and will soon release Just Feels Right, the latest of his musical masterpieces. Keyboardist/producer/arranger Bob Baldwin is an emerging young artist that has captured the music world’s attention with his latest CD City Sketches, commemorating Atlanta’s unique history. Twin forces of contemporary jazz, The Braxton Brothers Wayne and Nelson Braxton, showcase their talents in composing, arranging, and performing on their new album, Rollin', on Peak Records. Saxophonist Jeanette Harris with Andre Delano has a new Smooth Jazz CD in rotation, will be the opening act for the festival.

With an expected attendance of more than 1,500 guests, this years crowd will be treated not only to an afternoon filled with live music but also a Festival Marketplace and an International Food Court. Without a doubt, this year’s festival promises to be the ultimate celebration of Inglewood’s cultural and artistic renaissance.

The 2003 first annual South Bay Jazz Festival was attended by over 2000 fans, and featured such celebrated contemporary jazz artists as Norman Brown, Wayman Tisdale, Everette Harp, Hiroshima, Gregg Karukas, and Rick Perkins. In 2004 many more eager jazz enthusiasts listened to the sounds of Eloise Laws, Freddie Ravel, Phil Perry, Jeanette Harris, Bobby Lyles, Marion Meadows, Joyce Cooling, Karen Briggs, Michael Lington, Dennis Nelson, Dwight Trible and the group Himalaya. Good weather, good music, and good behavior marked each event, which was a source of civic pride for Inglewood residents who have long fought against negative stereotypes associated with the city.

Ticket prices range from $30 to $100 and are available at Inglewood Tickets – one of the premier African-American owned ticket agencies in the country. The Inglewood Police Department will provide event security, and parking will be provided at convenient lots located within walking distance of the amphitheatre. Additionally, shuttle buses will be available to attendees parking in the official festival lots.
