The event complements Mr. Breakstone's artist residency at the CNYJAF's 5th annual Summer Jazz Workshop, June 26-30th. A Jazz Studies graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music, he has traveled the world over with his music. Joshua teaches privately in New York City and has served on the faculty at the Rhode Island Conservatory of Music. He has recorded nineteen albums as leader with a Who's Who of jazz luminaries such as Kenny Baron, Pepper Adams, Jimmy Knepper, Tommy Flanagan and Jack McDuff.
