Jazz Guitarist David Wright New Summer Music Release, "Blue Beach Boardwalk"
Blue Beach Boardwalk is the newest release by guitarist and composer David Wright. Following up his previous 2014 release “Music From The International Airport Hotel Lounge".
“Blue Beach Boardwalk" is a mellow and relaxing mainstream jazz release with bossa and latin elements, ideal for the warm summer months.
“To me, musically, it's really a ‘summer jazz relrease’ and I’m super happy with how it turned out". At forty two minutes the recording features seven original compositions and fine playing from a wonderful supporting cast of musicians.
Leading off the recording is an upbeat latin jazz tune featuring Baritone sax and Mandolin! Rounding out the recording are two bossa flavor compositions an up-tempo modal piece and a ballad. “I think it's comes off as a smooth cohesive whole,... it fit's well together", states David Wright.
“Blue Beach Boardwalk" is currently available as a digital download at David's website, Amazon, Bandcamp and coming soon to iTunes and Spotify.
Reviews of some of David Wright’s past releases:
“Wright’s approach also belies influences from the previous generation of guitar heroes, players such as Wes Montgomery, Grant Green and George Benson." —Dave Wayne, All About Jazz
