On Saturday March 6th, there will be a night of West African drumming and dancing to benefit the injured little daughter of jazz drummer Khary Shaheed and dancer Alexandria Bradley at the Community Education Center, 3500 Lancaster Ave, Philadelphia, PA from 7-11PM. Tax deductible donations will be accepted at the door for the “Malaika Fund" by Jazz Bridge, a 501c3 nonprofit that assists jazz and blues musicians in crisis.
