We believe jazz has the power to uplift and unite our community, and we’re excited to present an array of events that will engage people from all walks of life.
Joe Muccioli, Founder & Artistic Director of the Jazz Arts Project
Celebrating its 20th year the nonprofit Jazz Arts Project is gearing up for a busy summer in Red Bank, NJ. This year, a non-stop array of world-class jazz artists will perform in dozens of events, including park concerts, café nights, masterclasses, and jam sessions. There will also be several weeks of music camps and training programs for young musicians in the area. All of this is presented in honor of America’s music—jazz.
The organization is thrilled to announce an exhilarating summer lineup filled with vibrant jazz concerts and events that will resonate throughout the heart of Red Bank. During July and August, music lovers of all ages will have the opportunity to experience the magic of live jazz, with performances from both renowned artists and rising talents.
Some of the world-class jazz musicians featured in this year’s Summer of Jazz include: Frank Vignola, Camille Thurman, Valery Ponomarev, James Austin, Jr., the Grace Fox Big Band, Winard Harper & Jeli Posse, Justin Robinson, Arturo O'Farrill, Julius Tolentino, Leonieke Scheuble, Jason Jackson, Liam Sutcliffe, Chuck Lambert, and Eddie Allen’s Salongo.
Red Bank will transform into a jazz haven with live music at various venues, parks, and festivals. Highlights include the much-anticipated Summer Jazz Cafe Series, the Jazz In The Park series on the banks of the Navesink River, the West Side Concerts at Johnny Jazz Park, and the Monday Night Jam Sessions at Triumph Brewery. Each event will showcase the rich history and cultural depth of jazz, while fostering community connection and enjoyment.
