The fourth International Jazz Composers' Symposium, co-sponsored by the University of Northern Colorado and the International Society of Jazz Arrangers and Composers (ISJAC), will be held in the new School of Music facilities at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO from May 16-18, 2019. The Symposium is designed as a forum to bring jazz composers of all ages and nationalities together for an informal exchange of ideas, information, and inspiration.

This year's Symposium will include noted master artists Ron Miles, Bill Frisell, Christine Jensen, Vince Mendoza, Darcy James Argue, and Chris Potter among others, in a series of concerts, lectures, master classes, panel discussions, research presentations, and industry sessions.

About the International Society of Jazz Arrangers and Composers

The Mission of the International Society of Jazz Arrangers and Composers is threefold: (1) To unite and serve the international community of jazz arrangers and composers; (2) To advance the understanding and appreciation of jazz composition; (3) To stimulate the creation, performance, and dissemination of new works and research. ISJAC Consortium Members include: Hope College, Gustavus Adolphus College, University of Iowa, University of Michigan, University of Northern Colorado, University of Oregon and the University of South Florida.
