Eric Clapton is hosting his third Crossroads Guitar Festival on June 26 in Chicago.
Inviting many of the same stellar guests who appeared at the first two events. This years lineup includes B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Vince Gill, Steve Winwood, Robert Cray and ZZ Top. Google Plans to Offer Broadband Service

Google is getting into the broadband business, taking on the cable and telephone companies in an effort to make speedy Internet access available to more people. The Internet giant announced on its blog Wednesday that it planned to deploy a fiber-optic network to at least 50,000 homes and as many as 500,000. Google plans to build experimental, ultra-fast Internet networks in a handful of communities around the country. The search company said Wednesday that its fiber-optic broadband networks will deliver speeds of 1 gigabit per second to as many as 500,000 Americans. Universal Music Group Names Successor to CEO Doug Morris

The head of Universal Music Group's international operations has been named chief executive of the world's largest music company, succeeding Doug Morris.
Lucian Grainge, Morris' hand-picked successor, will take over as CEO on Jan. 1, 2011, sharing responsibility with Morris until that time.
