Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium (CBJC) created the Brooklyn Jazz Hall of Fame twelve years ago to recognize unheralded and renowned jazz musicians who call(ed) Brooklyn home. A museum component was created in 2009 to archive the rich jazz tradition of this borough for future generations. The induction and award ceremony for the hall of fame will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6 to 8:00 pm at the Brooklyn Historical Society in Brooklyn Heights section of the borough. ...
