A month ago, Le QuecumBar, the home and temple of Gypsy swing, London, started a crowdfunding campaign in response to rising rents. Like many jazz clubs and live music venues, Le Que has been subjected to rising rental and lease costs but fought back to remain in situ. London’s premier Hot Club, Le QuecumBar, famed world over for being the Mecca of Gypsy Jazz launched its Kickstarter crowd-funding at the beginning of this week.
