Listener-sponsored WFMU-FM is having its annual fundraiser

Now in its sixth decade, non-commercial, listener-sponsored community radio station WFMU is holding its annual on-air fundraiser (through March 13 at midnight, ET). WFMU is a completely independent organization that has no commercially underwritten programming and accepts no corporate or government strings-attached funding. WFMU holds only one on-air fundraiser every year (for two) weeks, when it endeavors to raise the bulk of its operating budget. Jazz is a vital component of WFMU's programming.
