Just when you thought your music discovery efforts were optimized to their full potential, Limili takes them one-step further. Remember that time you heard a song playing and wanted to know what it was, but hadn't the slightest clue? Well, companies like Shazam and Soundhound solved that problem. Limili is similar in concept to those services, but it doesn't stop at identification.

As users hold up their phone to the speaker, waiting for the song to be identified, the program simultaneously searches for that song on popular music sites Grooveshark, iTunes, Last.FM, Play.Me, Rhapsody, Spotify, We7, and YouTube.

Once the track has been recognized, users are given the option to add it to their collections within their favorite music sites. That way, once you get home or start streaming on the go, the new song is waiting to be played. Limili is powered by the Mufin database. It seems like such a little difference, but the outcome is powerful. Rather than forgetting the song, you're assured that it's in your playlist.
