Host Michael Anthony Celebrates 10 Years On The Air!

On Saturday, April 22nd radio personality Michael Anthony celebrates ten years as host of the jazz/standards program The Unforgettables, on WHPC 90.3FM (Saturday's 7-10PM). This unique show is heard throughout Long Island and New York City.

Nearly 300 of the best known vocalists, instrumentalists, arrangers and songwriters from the past seventy years have all been guests. Peggy Lee, Oscar Peterson, Joe Williams, Lionel Hampton, Dianne Reeves, Bill Charlap, Barney Kessel, Artie Shaw, Regina Carter, Johnny Mandel are just a few of the names that have been interviewed in a biographical approach for his program over the past decade. “The purpose of the show is to both entertain and educate the listeners about this great American art form," says Anthony.

Buddy DeFranco, Keely Smith, Jon Hendricks and Kay Starr are amongst the guests who will be joining Michael Anthony live this Saturday from 7-10PM.
