HIGH SIERRA BASE, THE CUSTOMIZABLE SCHEDULE PRODUCED BY JAMBASE
FOR THE 18TH ANNUAL HIGH SIERRA MUSIC FESTIVAL JULY 3-6, 2008

High Sierra Music today announced the launch of High Sierra Base. Produced by JamBase, the customizable schedule system allows users to personalize their own High Sierra Music Festival experience by selecting sets they want to see, create their own schedules and send to friends. High Sierra Base can be found at www.jambase.com/festivals/highsierra. The 18th Annual High Sierra Music Festival is set for Thursday, July 3 through Sunday, July 6, 2008 at the Plumas-Sierra Fairgrounds in Quincy, CA. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. on July 3.

High Sierra is committed to toward environmental sustainability and continues to build upon their greening successes. Through partnerships with Green Mountain Energy for carbon offsets, Clean Vibes for recycling, and Clif Bar to purchase wind credits, High Sierra is making visible efforts to minimize their carbon footprint. In 2007, High Sierra implemented a successful composting program, partnering with local Plumas County farmers to keep organic scrap by-products created by its food vendors out of the landfill. In total, approximately 850 gallons of fruit and vegetable waste were kept out of the landfill by the composting team. The Festival plans to expand the operation in 2008.

Four-day passes are $168, three-day passes are $157 and two-day passes are $136 through June 30. Single day tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are $60, and do not include camping. Kids 6 - 12: Four-day, Three-day, Two-day passes are $50, $40 and $30 respectively; 4 & under FREE. On-site camping is included with all multi-day passes. Parking is free in an off-site lot. Shuttle service provided. On-site vehicle passes $85; On-site RV passes are sold out; RV Annex passes (off-site RV parking, no hook-ups) $85.

Premium FestivALL Packages include four-day festival passes, access to a VIP lounge near the Grandstand Stage featuring elevated viewing, private port-o-johns, a massage chair (limited hours), beverages and snacks, Late Night combination wristbands for access to all Late Night shows, festival t-shirts, festival posters and drink tickets. These packages are designed for both individuals and groups of two. FestivALL Pack 2 includes a vehicle pass, and Pack 3 includes an RV pass with guaranteed hook-up. Prices range from $650.00 - $1,300.00. FestivALL Pack 3 is sold out.
