Erwin Helfer, Legendary Chicago Jazz/Blues Pianist, in Performance!

Legendary pianist, Mr. Erwin Helfer, a jazz/blues/boogie-woogie master, will appear at The Greenhouse Theater (2257 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago, 773-404-7336) on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Helfer appears in conjunction with a benefit for the non-profit group, Chicago End-of-Life Care Coalition (CECC), at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $25 and are available at greenhousetheater.org. Discounted parking across the street at the Children's Memorial Hospital parking gargage.

Your ticket includes 2 cocktails, appetizers, sweets, great raffle prizes, a meet/greet with Mr. Helfer and enjoyment of his unique and satisfying brand of jazz piano.

Also, at 7:30 pm at the theatre, enjoy a performance of the 70-minute play, “Deep Listening," which is an uplifting exploration of the gifts of the heart near the end of life. If you've ever been touched by a hospice worker or wondered about the transition of life to death, you will LOVE this play!

CECC is celebrating its 10th year of educating Chicagoland's diverse community about compassionate, palliative care.
